Sigurnost i regulacija kao temelj Prvi korak je stvaranje sigurnog prostora usporiti, disati i biti u kontaktu bez opasnosti. \u2028Kroz sigurno sidrenje u\u010dimo: biti prisutni bez preplavljivanja, prepoznavati signale sigurnosti, regulirati \u017eiv\u010dani sustav i razvijati osje\u0107aj oslonca. Osje\u0107aj sigurnosti omogu\u0107uje pristup dubljim slojevima iskustva i integraciju traume. Polivagalna perspektiva Polivagalna teorija obja\u0161njava kako \u017eiv\u010dani sustav reagira na izazove kroz tri stanja: Sigurnost i povezanost \u2013 mir i otvorenost, Mobilizacija \u2013 borba ili bijeg, Zamrznutost \u2013 odvojenost ili uko\u010denost.\u2028 Somatskim praksama u\u010dimo regulirati prijelaze izme\u0111u tih stanja i ja\u010dati kapacitet za sigurnost i povezanost.
